I'm tons of fun and you're no fun at all! You complete me!

So tomorrow, is my hubby's birthday!  The Deuce turns the big 3-6 and so I thought I would post a little happy happy birthday to him on my blog.  (When you have your very own blog, you can do things like that.) 

The Deuce and I met nearly nine years ago through friends.  He was super quiet and I...well, not so much.  We went on a few dates, went boating, took long walks and went to some baseball games.  Through all this, he finally started to talk and open up more, and as he did that, I knew we were meant to be. 

There's a line from the Disney movie, Ice Age, where a couple of the characters are talking to each other.  One says to the other, 'I'm tons of fun and you're no fun at all!  You complete me!' and I think that describes The Deuce and me to a T.  Now, I know you're thinking, 'Sister Sassafrass!  That sounds a little mean!' but let me explain.  The Deuce totally balances me out.  He saves, I spend.  He's the thinker, the planner.  I'm the 'let's do it now and worry about it later' type person.  He completes me!  We are like two puzzle pieces that fit perfectly together.  We agree, God made us for only each other.

So on Friday night after I get off work, I'll come home, make his favorite for dessert (peach cobbler) and we'll celebrate his big day.  If you think about it, give him a ring and wish him a good one!
