Welcome, dear friends, to my blog! There's nothing I love more than cozying up in my chair, nice warm afghan covering me, maybe a hot mocha-something in my favorite mug beside me and settling in to read my favorite blogs online! Really! It's better than some good greenie beanies with taters and sausage in a Crock Pot at a church pitch-in dinner! And y'all know how much I love a good church pitch-in dinner! I was, after all, raised Nazarene and we all know Nazarenes will arrive at Heaven's gate with a covered dish in our hands! Which makes me think of my blog title, The Higher the Hair, the Closer to God. It's something I've been saying since high school and my hair broke all rules of gravity, so it only seemed logical to me that I name my blog after my lifetime mantra.
Seriously though, sisters, I thought I'd start a blog as something fun. Something you could jump on and read a post or two and smile! It's gonna be fun! I hope to write about things I like, such as being a wife and mommy, church, running a happy household, cooking, crafting, clothes, make up, hairspray and hair products! Heeheehee!
So hold on to your teasing combs tight, girls, 'cause we're gonna have ourselves a good time!
