I think I'm in love . . .

Hey there, dear friends!  Hope y'all are well and have been behaving yourselves!  heehee!  Isn't this some wacky weather we've been having?  It's been spring-like, then super cold, yesterday there was a tornado watch in Southern Indiana and today, it's blowed and snowed!  Funny!  But, that's why I like Indiana weather, if you don't like a particular day, wait till the next, it will be different.

I always like for it to snow like crazy right up to my birthday.  Then on March 1 (or February 29, depending on the year) I'm ready to see my tulips popping up!  I'm over the snow by that point.  It seems to always snow, no matter what around my birthday anyway.  It seems Mother Nature isn't a fan of Indiana High School Basketball Sectionals, which are usually right around my day.  heehee!

So, the big news of the day is . . . tah-tah-de-DAHHHH . . . I'm an AUNT!  YAY!  Baby G arrived Wednesday at 7:32pm, and needless to say . . . I think I'm in love!  (Okay, so when I married The Deuce, I became an aunt to his nephews and nieces, and I love each of them with all my heart.  But this time, it's my brother's child.)  So my Little Boy is a BIG cousin to Baby G!  And he can't stop talking about him!

It just so happened that Baby G's mommy, Aunt J, delivered in the hospital in which I work (and she works, too!).  I was working when I received a text from my mom that said Aunt J was in labor.  I bee-bopped right on down to the Third Floor to wish Uncle J and Aunt J well, only to find the grandparents-to-be waiting in the lobby.  It was getting close for Baby G to make his arrival and everyone had been given the boot!  heehee!  So when 7:30 approached, I clocked out and made the mad dash down two floors hoping I hadn't missed anything.  The g-parents were still waiting . . . no word just yet . . . when about 8:30, a proud, happy, new Daddy came in to view!

Uncle J, my BABY brother, is a Daddy.  Wow.  *sniff, sniff*

And I, SISTER SASS, am one proud Auntie!!!!

Baby G weighed in at a whopping 8 pounds 10 ounces and was 21.5 inches long!  And did I mention CUTE!  Oh my goodness, C. U. T. E.  Sheeeew-eeeeee, is he sweet!  I'm tellin' you friends, I love that sweet little bundle of joy!  Little Boy is crazy about him, too.  The day after Baby G made his grand entrance into this world, I took Little Boy to meet his cousin.  At first he wasn't too impressed, but as more and more people were really making over this little bundle of blankets (which to a two year old is what I'm sure it looked like we were all holding) he investigated further and decided he liked the baby.  And he's not stopped talking about him since!

So, I wish to say Congratulations to my brother and his beautiful wife.  I am so happy for them.  And happy for our whole family!  We've got another sweet little boy to spoil!  Poppy and Grammy are going to go broke buying tractors and go-carts for these boys!  heeheehee!

I give praise to Jesus, for the blessing that Baby G is to our family.

Oh my goodness.  I love this precious baby boy.
